She was born in Wendell, NC on September 8, 1923 to Carrie Leigh Thomas and Warren Guy Tyson. Ms. Margie Alford, 55 of Lumberton was born on February 26, 1964 to the late Albert Alford and late Ruby Mitchell. She transitioned from time to eternal rest on November 27, 2019 at Southeastern Health in Lumberton, NC. See the obituary of her husband, Charles Wesley M. Alford, in this compilation. Mrs. Floyd was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker and a teaching assistant for the Robeson County schools.

Before retiring from the East Ohio Conference in 1995, Rev. Dr. Hubler served at Bennetts Corners, Boardman, Solon, Bellevue, Poland, and Bay UM churches, and as Akron District Superintendent. Rev. Dr. Buckeye served Plainfield/Isletta, Garfield Heights, Boardman First, Wellington, Pleasant Hills, Bay, West Lafayette, and Hope UM churches before retiring from the East Ohio Conference in 2019. Born on May 10, 1913, in Augusta County, Va., she was the daughter of the late Millard F. Alford and Ivy Zirkle Alford and the wife of the late Albert Lee Lewis. She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Alexander Alford of Frederick, Maryland. Alford, Margaret, of 527 Maple Branches Drive, died Tuesday at Cypress Pointe Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. The funeral will be at noon Monday at Johnson Chapel AME Zion Church.

Mr. Nathaniel Alford of Charlotte, was Promoted to Glory on Sunday, January 15, 2012. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2012, at 12 noon at Statesville Avenue Presbyterian Church, 3435 Nevin Road, Charlotte…. Surviving are her husband, parents, Arthur Tugwell of Greensboro, Bennie Tugwell of Walstonburg, Linwood and Wilson Tugwell of Farmville. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Gordon Vestal and Mrs. W.D. Williams, both of Rocky Mount; several nieces and nephews. Born December 23, 1940, a native of Forsyth County, she was the daughter of the late Zeb and Mary Harris West. Mrs. Alford was a graduate of James A. Gray High School, she attended Lees-McRae College, East Carolina University and graduated from High Point College.

Dr. Arthur C. Sperry.

Mrs. Boulton is survived by children Lisa , Mitchell , Jim, and Melanie ; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Rev. and Mrs. Jeans are survived by children Fred Jeans, Denyse Kenney, and Sheryl Vucich; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Fredric E. Jeans, retired Elder, died August 16. Dolores Jeans, spouse of the Rev. Frederic Jeans, died August 13.
